Chain Slings for Hot-dip Galvanizing Plants (grade 4)
Our chains slings in accordance to EN 818-3 and 5 / EN 818-6 in the grades 2 and 4, as well as our slinging equipment in accordance to BGR 150 and DGUV 109-004, are used by hot-dip galvanizing plants for feeding pickling and zinc baths. We use special steel melts as the material in order to specifically reduce the costly zinc consumption.
Customized special designs according to customer requirements are available on request. You can also request eyebolts, shackles, and suspension links as accessories. Special lifting equipment and 2- and 3-dimensional special bent wire parts are also available.
Properties: dimensionally stable, tested and calibrated
Execution: Polished
Area of application: For use in hot-dip galvanizing plants
Material: steel according to DIN 17115:2012-07 with limited analysis, stainless chains according to e.g. 1.4404

Note: The load capacity specifications take into account the operating temperatures of the chains up to a maximum of 475°C in the zinc bath. Grade 2 chain slings can be worn down to the next smaller nominal diameter.
