Round steel chains according to DIN 763 (grade 2)
Round steel chains according to DIN 763 are used in a wide range of applications for the static lifting and suspension of loads, e.g. as suspension chains in the mining industry or for suspending and securing pipes, as well as in the animal feed industry. They are available in bundles or by the metre and come with a test certificate in accordance with DIN 685-4.
Properties: long link, tested and not relevant to teaching
Design: Bright, galvanized, hot-dip galvanized
Material: Quenched and tempered steels and stainless steels (e.g. 1.4404)
Note: These chains are not suitable for use as load-bearing devices, slings or lifting gear within the meaning of DIN 15003 in conjunction with cranes or hoists.
